Principal’s Message
A woman with brown hair smiles at the camera, wearing a blazer.

Pinar Pirates, I am excited to be your principal and honored to be a part of a community that has high expectations for student learning and believes in the school/home partnership to ensure the success of our students. Building and maintaining strong relationships is important to me. Our dedicated teachers and staff, along with the administrative team, are always here to answer questions and address your concerns. Open communication is essential and if it is important to you, it is important to us! To strengthen our partnership, we would like you to join our School Advisory Council and Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and participate in school events to show support for our Pirates’ academic and extracurricular achievements.

The vision of Orange County Public Schools is “Every student graduates prepared and inspired for a thriving future.” Here at Pinar Elementary, our Pirates are hooked on learning.  We work to achieve this vision every day! We provide standards-based, targeted intervention, and enrichment opportunities to ensure that we meet the academic and social-emotional needs of all students as they strive to reach their fullest potential.

The morning news crew reminds our students daily that Pirates are Prepared, Independent, Responsible, Achievers, Trustworthy, and Engaged. With these guiding principles, Pinar Pirates will continue to sail to success!

Respectfully,

Adrian Green
Principal
